About Digital Hope Rwanda

Over 81% of Rwanda's population lives in rural areas, with more than 93.2% of rural residents lacking basic digital skills. Low levels of digital literacy in rural Rwanda also correlate with higher poverty rates.

We are addressing this issue by establishing computer learning centers in various rural communities and developing basic digital literacy training programs that empower underserved rural Rwandans to succeed in today’s digital world.

We are providing digital literacy training at our first learning center in Nyamasheke District, one of the most underserved rural regions in Rwanda, where digital literacy levels remain critically low.

4-month, hands-on ICT training program with course materials designed in our local language, Kinyarwanda, to accommodate rural Rwandan communities, including those who do not understand English and those who have never used any digital devices before.
